Floe supports dynamic content; so logos can change or information can be included or excluded based on SAP business logic.
Dynamic Process Notifications
A major use case for Floe is in process notifications.
There are lots of ways to generate these with SAP Business Suite and S/4HANA, including business events, SAP workflows and routing logic in Varo or Stelo.
This might be a notification to take action, with links to an inbox or to action buttons.
Or it might be a notification that an update has been made in the system, with details about a new customer or employee, for example.
This has great value for Master Data maintenance processes, and can trigger notifications inside the organisation or to external recipients.
And, if an SMS text message is enough, then Floe can generate that too, using integration to Renda.io

Simple Email Decision Capture
Email is not just a powerful output mechanism with Floe because you can also add one or more action buttons and links to capture choices or decisions by the recipients.
This might be to cancel an order, or approve or reject something.
In these scenarios, the decision is sent back to Floe by an email, and Floe can capture the decision from the inbound email and trigger the appropriate next step in the business process.
This means email can be used to progress a process without the need for a logon.
Floe is a secure way to get feedback that is light touch and easy to implement.
Powerful Mass Correspondence
With Floe you can create tailored and dynamic emails for a mass audience direct from SAP Business Suite. You can generate the recipient lists from SAP customers, suppliers or employees, upload lists from Excel or maintain the lists manually. Floe adds the ability to tailor each email to the recipient based on SAP data, adding dynamic content where required.
In this way, the same email may look different for each recipient, containing different paragraphs, links, images or attachments. This enables complex output like contracts and order confirmations to be handled with ease. You can even add attachments like brochures or PDF forms to the email. This is much more powerful then cloud-based marketing email systems.
On-demand document generation
In a world where we don’t send email attachments by default, there are occasions when business partners require an archivable or printable copy of the document, such as VAT receipts or invoices, or documents required for export and import.
Alternatively we may want to provide the option for users to view or download historic documents.
With Floe we can generate these documents on request, without the need to manage a document archive. The resulting document can be returned as HTML or PDF, depending on the particular use case or, of course, could be sent by email.
Reporting In Multiple UIs
An additional capability of Floe is the generation of formatted reports that can be consumed using multiple UIs.
Because HTML is a universally-understood language, by creating a Floe output using a simple HTML table, we can create a downloadable report that can be consumed using many different applications and devices.
It’s really great to be able to download information from SAP into, say, Excel or Word, without having to spend time re-formatting the raw data.
