Building Better Fiori Apps: Real world learnings

We are delighted to announce that Arch will be exhibiting and presenting at the SAP User Experience Symposium on 9th May in London.

We will be demonstrating a Kiosk app, developed for ThermoFisher, to enable stock management with an iPad and a wireless barcode scanner.

We will be presenting about our learnings across many customer projects on the delivery of better Fiori apps:

Building Better Fiori Apps: Real world learnings
Fiori can be used for much more than simple transactions like leave requests. Marrying complex processes to a simple UX is far from straightforward, but there are things you can do to make it possible, and it’s worth it.

In this session we will bring together lessons learned from multiple Fiori implementations at a range of customers in the UK and USA.

Specifically, we will consider:
1. When to use library apps versus custom apps: how far you can bend the library apps to meet your particular requirements.
2. How to design simple Fiori apps for complex business processes: when does a design-thinking approach add real value?
3. Top tips for building better Fiori apps, and pitfalls to avoid.

We will introduce Stelo, the Fiori framework from Arch, and describe how it can enable you to accelerate your delivery of Fiori app processes.

Throughout the session we will demonstrate custom Fiori apps built for a range of business processes, describing the use case for each organisation.
We will include Finance, Supply Chain and HCM examples, a mix of simple and complex apps, and end-to-end process flows that embrace every user touch-point.

You can book tickets to the event through the UK and Ireland SAP User Group website.
