Gloucestershire County Council to present at SAP TechEd Las Vegas
We are delighted to announce that Kevin Norris, SAP Development Leader at Gloucestershire County Council will present at a Customer Round Table Session at SAP TechEd / D-code in Las Vegas on 21 October.
Gloucestershire County Council administers strategic local government services in the County of Gloucestershire, in the South West of England. The council provides many local government services including social services, education, libraries and public roads.
The Business Service Centre (BSC) is the Council’s shared service centre, which delivers a wide range of cost effective, timely services that meet the needs of internal and external customers. In 2010 the council was faced with a 30% reduction in public sector spending, and the BSC began to develop and introduce electronic forms based solutions to provide significant process efficiencies through process automation, enhanced usability and validation at the point of entry. The project has been a huge success, delivering Return on Investment within 12 months, and ongoing efficiency savings of 40%. The e-Forms are accessible from a number of different self service points within SAP; processes for Council front line staff, managers and external customers are now much easier, quicker and more intuitive.
Kevin will discuss the implementation, lessons learned and key successes in the introduction and development of SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe with Arch FLM.
