Stelo is an SAP Fiori app generator which accelerates the development process for custom Fiori apps and processes.  This includes:

  • An end-to-end Fiori Forms solution, including functionality for data capture, validation, submission, routing and posting, all within a back-end SAP process framework.
  • A framework for the development and management of custom Fiori Apps, enabling organisations to easily build and maintain a suite of Fiori apps and also the related end-to-end business processes.

Stelo is fully-integrated into SAP S/4HANA and ECC.  A simple user-exit framework replaces the need for custom SAP Gateway Services or Core Data Services.

Stelo includes lightweight workflow functionality and robust SAP update management. It also includes administration tools, including a process dashboard app.

For communication, Stelo is fully-integrated with Floe for all notifications.

As Fiori styling has developed over time, we continue to ensure that Stelo generates apps that meet the latest styling standards and coding practices. All the apps are backwards-compatible.

Performance Improvements

Stelo apps now include new JSON models for app data.  This delivers significant performance improvements for apps with large data sets (dynamic tables or sections with hundreds of rows).

Stelo now generates apps with dynamic tables or repeating sections out-of-the-box, reducing the amount of custom coding.

New master-detail floorplan for inbox/approvals

Stelo now includes an option to include a document list as a left-hand panel so that a single app can be used to trigger a process and for subsequent approval steps, with no need for a separate app for approval.

Stelo Inbox Improvements

The letterbox view for the Stelo Inbox has been replaced by a full-screen view, enabling more data to be displayed.

Utility Function Library

Stelo now ships with a Utility Function Library, which is our collection of useful JavaScript functions which can be used easily within any Stelo app.

The Stelo app code has been reorganised to provide clearer separation between generated code and customer code, making the apps even easier to build and maintain.
