How Sunderland Council is transforming HR process approvals using Microsoft Teams.
Sunderland City Council, in collaboration with Arch, has embarked on a remarkable journey of continuous improvement. The Council has already realised a 30% reduction in manual processes through the automation of HR correspondence. Building on this success, it is now extending critical HR approval processes from SAP ECC into Microsoft Teams, streamlining Time Related Payments (Overtime), Leave Requests, and Expense Claims.
A key highlight of this transformation is the co-innovation of Looply, a cutting-edge platform designed to extend SAP notification and approval workflows into Microsoft Teams. This integration allows managers to handle approvals directly within Teams, simplifying workflows and enhancing productivity without the need for large-scale implementations of SAP S/4HANA or SuccessFactors Employee Central.
