PDF Transformation services now available with Renda.io

We are delighted to announce that two new microservices have been added to Renda.io, available immediately for all Renda.io customers.

Convert PDF to Postscript

Now you can convert PDF files to postscript files, in order to programmatically send to a printer for a physical print. This is useful in scenarios where some paperwork is required, potentially to be manually stamped or signed, such as export/import documentation.

For Floe customers this means that Floe templates can be used for emails, for PDF attachments and now can be sent directly to a printer from SAP, without the need for any manual intervention.

Convert PDF to PNG

Sometimes we need to generate images automatically which include business data. These could be tickets, certificates or receipts, for example.  Such images can be used in a variety of ways, such as being embedded in emails, minted on the blockchain, or presented to a user through a chatbot.

It is now possible to convert PDF files to PNG image files.  For Floe customers this means that any Floe template can be used to generate an image, by first rendering as a PDF and then transforming to PNG.   

Our blockchain demonstration video shows a certificate being created from a Floe template, as both PDF and PNG, and then saved on the blockchain as a digital asset and embedded into an email output.
