SAP Change notifications in Microsoft Teams

With Looply you can trigger Teams notifications when changes occur in SAP to many different business objects, such as sales orders and cost centres.

In these scenarios, no action is possible through Teams, since the SAP update has already taken place.   But it is an easy way to keep users abreast of changes to critical business objects.

The trigger point is the ‘change event’.  The change tables CDHDR and CDPOS provide details of exactly what was changed, when, and by whom.

The event in SAP triggers a function to pass the data to Looply.

The result is a clean, clear and immediate notification card presented inside Teams.

The card can be configured to automatically disappear after a period of time, so that the Teams Chat is not filled with historic information.
