At Arch we make SAP easier. We’ve been making SAP easier since 1997. In the early days this involved systems integration; making SAP talk to other systems internally or in the supply chain. As we were able to do this more and more it enabled business process re-engineering, whereby tasks could be automated through such integration, saving organisations much time.
We made SAP easier by building interfaces to other systems and by integrating alternate user interfaces to provide a whole different user experience for occasional users. We pioneered the use of intelligent PDF e-forms in 2003, making tasks like time reporting and purchase order approval so much clearer and easier.
We continue to improve processes with emerging technologies, whether that is RPA, IOT or blockchain, and continue to deliver improved user experience using a mix of SAP and non-SAP technologies.
So everything we do is about user experience and process change, and our suite of add-on products enable the delivery of custom processes, to help organisations get more from their investment in SAP. User Experience
Historically we focused on Occasional Users, who need clearer cleaner screens, who need one-click navigation, who need the system to use familiar terminology. We design e-forms on the web that protect users from the vast SAP system, providing exactly what they need. We design consumer-grade native mobile apps, that anyone could pick up and use without training.
We make SAP easier for Frequent Users too. In many cases the work done by your users doesn’t fit neatly into SAP roles. Users can wear different hats at different times. Real life is messy and complex, and a bit difficult to model on a spreadsheet. Their SAP experience must be as simple as possible, but flexible too. We design custom Fiori apps, built specifically for your user personas – and help you figure out what your user personas are if you don’t know. We also design LaunchPads to help your users organise and prioritise, to make it easy to find and navigate to the tools they need, to get rid of all the stuff they don’t need and provide analytical information to guide user tasks.
We embrace every user touch-point. It’s not just about data entry or extraction. It’s every form, email, letter, text message, notification, output document and interaction with chatbots or through web portals. Your processes can have an extended reach, and we help you transform each user interaction, however that interaction is made.
We make SAP easier for developers. That’s not just about standardising the development of custom apps, forms and emails with our framework; crucially it’s all about maintaining your apps, forms and output templates with a smaller toolset in a way that is hugely easier and more powerful.
Process Change
We can consider process change as the combination of ‘doing things differently’ and ‘doing different things’, and both are important. Doing things differently might be a reduction in process steps, performing tasks digitally instead of manually, or performing tasks in a different order. ‘Doing different things’ might include using Dashboards for user insights to action, participating in new processes enabled by IOT or blockchain, or introducing a new process where none existed before.
We deliver digitisation of manual process and automation of manual steps. We provide a custom process framework for the design of processes in SAP. This gives you an on-premise platform to integrate to cloud services such as RPA products, IOT event-based triggers and blockchain.
As change has become the new norm, tools for business process intelligence and business process transformation can deliver enormous value. We use SAP Signavio to model and measure your existing processes and to simulate changes to those processes.
And wherever there is process change there is the need for change management. We can support your change management needs by designing and delivering stakeholder workshops, determining business benefits and change impacts, building and delivering a communication strategy through the project lifecycle, helping you to define a business readiness plan and identifying key training needs.
